Learning Plan for MCITP Certification as a Database Developer

This learning plan is intended for experienced database developers who work for medium-sized or large enterprises. They solve business problems by taking their technical expertise and their product expertise and merging it with problem-solving abilities to create solutions to business problems. This person is proficient in database technologies and at applying many of them at a professional job role level. In addition, this person is experienced using previous versions of SQL Server or other database technologies.


By following the steps in this learning plan, candidates prepare for the Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Database Developer certification. This certification demonstrates that the candidate has the knowledge and skills required to design a secure, stable, enterprise database solution by using Microsoft SQL Server 2005.


To achieve this certification, candidates must pass three exams: one MCTS prerequisite exam (70-431) and two Professional Series exams (70-441 and 70-442).
